Mamak Fried Chicken

INGREDIENTS
Chicken- One by One Chicken Drumstick
- 6 pieces of Sadia One by One Chicken Drumstick
- 5 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 thumb-sized piece of ginger (minced)
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp fennel seeds
- 2 tsp curry powder
- 1 tsp chilli powder
- ½ tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 160g rice flour
- 240g water
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp red food colouring
- Curry leaves
METHOD
- In a large bowl, combine garlic, ginger, coriander powder, cumin seeds, fennel seeds, beef curry powder, chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt, and rice flour. Mix well with Sadia One by One Chicken Drumstick until evenly coated.
- Add water, egg, and red food colouring to the mixture, ensuring the chicken is well coated. Let it marinate for 20 minutes.
- Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat. Fry the marinated chicken until golden brown and fully cooked, about 8–10 minutes. Add curry leaves towards the end of cooking for extra aroma. Drain on paper towels before serving.
