Hamburg Rice with Mushroom Sauce

Hamburg Patties
  • 1 patty of Sadia Primo Beef Burger with Black Pepper & Onion
  • 1 serving of cooked rice
Mushroom Gravy
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 canned mushrooms, thinly sliced
  • ¼ teaspoon of garlic powder
  • salt and pepper (to taste)
  • sunny-side fried egg (optional)


  1. Pan fry the Sadia Primo Beef Burger patty as per packaging instructions and set it aside. 
  2. At low heat, melt the butter. Once bubbly, add the flour and stir constantly (a wire whisk works best), cooking until the color is light brown.
  3. Then gradually add the beef broth. Whisk continuously until the gravy thickens.
  4. Next, add the mushrooms into the gravy and cook for 20 secs. Then add in the garlic powder and mix until powder dissolved. Bring the mixture to a low simmer for 2 mins.
  5. Add the patty into the gravy and continue to let them simmer until the beef patties are heated up again. Season with salt and pepper as desired. 
  6. Plate the patty and gravy on a bowl of rice. Optional to add a sunny-side egg.
