Spiced Chicken Keema with Peas

INGREDIENTS

Chicken
  • Sadia Chicken Boneless Leg 
Ingredients
  • 250g Sadia Chicken Boneless Leg (finely minced)
  • 1 tbsp ghee
  • 1 white onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1-inch ginger (grated)
  • 2 green chilli padi(chopped)
  • ½ tsp cumin seeds
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • 100g green peas
  • 1 tomato (finely chopped)
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • Boiled Egg

METHOD

  1. Heat oil or ghee in a pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds.
  2. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  3. Stir in garlic, ginger, and green chili, cooking for another minute until fragrant.
  4. Add minced Sadia Chicken Boneless Leg and stir-fry until it turns white and slightly golden.
  5. Sprinkle in turmeric, coriander powder, garam masala, and paprika. Stir well to coat the chicken in spices.
  6. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they soften and blend with the chicken.
  7. Toss in green peas and mix well. Cook for another 3-4 minutes until everything is combined.
  8. Season with salt and finish with a squeeze of lemon juice. Garnish with fresh coriander.
