Japanese Tofu and Chicken Fillet Stir-fry

INGREDIENTS

Chicken
  • 1 pack of Sadia 1 by 1 Chicken Fillet (5-6 pieces)
Ingredients
  • 1 pack Japanese silken tofu (cubed)
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce 
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil   
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water (optional for thickening) 
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (e.g., carrots, snap peas, bell peppers) 
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)  
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil 
  • Spring onions and sesame seeds (for garnish) 

METHOD

  1. Heat cooking oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat.
  2. Stir-fry the chicken fillet cubes until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. Add garlic to the same skillet and sauté until fragrant.
  4. Toss in the mixed vegetables and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Add tofu gently, followed by soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Stir carefully to avoid breaking the tofu
  6. Return the chicken to the skillet, mix, and let everything simmer for 2 minutes. (Optional: Add cornstarch mixture to thicken the sauce.) 
  7. Garnish with spring onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot with steamed rice.
