Chicken with Creamy Sun-Dried Tomato Sauce

INGREDIENTS

  • One by One Chicken Mid Joint Wing
Ingredients
  • 750g Sadia One by One Chicken Mid Joint Wing
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • 2 Tbsp oil from sun dried tomatoes jar
  • 2 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 300ml chicken broth
  • 185ml heavy cream
  • 30g parmesan (shredded)
  • 50g sun dried tomatoes (chopped)
  • 25g basil leaves

METHOD

  1. Season Sadia One by One Chicken Mid Joint Wing with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat oil from the sun-dried tomato jar in a large skillet over high heat. Add the chicken and cook until golden brown on both sides. Remove from the skillet and keep warm.
  3. Add the remaining oil to the same skillet. Sauté the garlic for about 1-2 minutes, until fragrant and softened.
  4. In the same skillet, add garlic and cook until fragrant and lightly golden.
  5. Stir in Dijon mustard, then add chicken broth, heavy cream, parmesan, and sun-dried tomatoes. Bring to a gentle simmer, then reduce the heat to medium and stir regularly until the sauce thickens and the cheese melts. Adjust with salt and pepper as needed.
  6. Stir in basil leaves, then return the chicken to the skillet. Spoon the sauce over the chicken and simmer for 1 minute to warm through.
