Yam Ring Basket

INGREDIENTS
Chicken- One by One Chicken Fillet
- 1 pcs Sadia One by One Chicken Fillet (cut into chunks)
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- Yam ring
- Cooking oil
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 medium purple onion (cut into small wedges)
- 1 stalk celery (cut into bite-size pieces)
- 1 small carrot (thinly sliced)
- 1 Tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- ½ tsp sugar
- ¼ tsp ground white pepper
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 120ml chicken broth
- 2 tsp cornstarch mixed with 1 Tbsp water
METHOD
- Marinate the Sadia One by One Chicken Fillet with cornstarch and soy sauce. Set aside for 15 minutes.
- Deep-fry the yam ring according to the packaging instructions and set aside.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over high heat. Sauté the garlic and onion for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the marinated chicken and stir-fry for 3 minutes. Add the celery and carrots, then continue stir-frying for another 1 minute.
- Add the seasonings and chicken broth. Bring to a simmer and adjust the flavour to taste.
- Stir in the cornstarch slurry (cornstarch mixed with water) and cook until the sauce thickens and becomes glossy.
- Spoon the chicken and vegetable filling into the yam ring and serve immediately.
