Oxtail Stew

  • 1 packet Sadia Beef Tail
  • 1 carrot
  • 2 chopped tomatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 2-3 slices ginger
  • 2-3 pieces of bay leaf
  • 2-3 sticks of cinnamon
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • Pinch of black pepper
  • 1 tbsp oil


  1. Add beef tail and ginger to a pot of cold water. Bring to a boil and let boil for 5 min. Pour away water and ginger and set aside beef tail.
  2. In the same pot, heat up oil in pot and add garlic, onion and carrot. Stir fry for 5 min.
  3. Add chopped tomatoes and stir fry till it becomes a paste. 
  4. Add boiling water to the pot with cinnamon, bay leaf and beef tail and let simmer over medium heat for about 40min.
  5. Switch fire down to low and slow cook for another 30min. Add sugar salt and black pepper to taste before serving.
