Beef Shabu Shabu Udon

  • Desired slices of Sadia Shabu Shabu 
  • Soy sauce 
  • 50g bonito flakes 
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar 
  • 1/4 onion, sliced 
  • 1 tbsp green onion, chopped 
  • 1 serving of Udon noodles


  1. In a medium pot, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
  2. Once the water reaches a boil, turn off the heat and add the bonito flakes to the water to make the broth. Allow it to steep for 2 minutes.
  3. Strain the bonito flakes from the broth and set the broth aside in a bowl.
  4. At low heat, return the strained broth to the pot and add salt, soy sauce, and sugar. Mix everything thoroughly and let it simmer for 2 minutes. 
  5. Add the onion to the broth and your desired amount of Sadia Beef Shabu Shabu slices and let it simmer for another 3 mins. 
  6. Then, add the udon noodles. Cook it for 10 minutes. Once your noodles are cooked, transfer everything into a bowl.
  7. Garnish with green onion. Enjoy your delicious beef udon!
