Bang Bang Chicken

INGREDIENTS

Chicken
  • One by One Chicken Skinless Breast
Ingredients
  • 450 g Sadia One by One Chicken Skinless Breast (cut into bite-sized cubes)
  • 60g potato starch
  • 60ml milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 30g all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp chilli flakes
  • 500ml cooking oil
For the Sauce
  • 60g mayonnaise
  • 30ml sweet chilli sauce
  • 30ml honey
  • 5g gochujang
  • ¼ tsp chilli flakes

METHOD

  1. In a bowl, whisk together milk and egg. Add potato starch, flour, salt, pepper and chilli flakes. Mix until smooth.
  2. Add the Sadia One by One Chicken Skinless Breast into the batter and ensure each piece is well coated.
  3. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat. Fry the chicken in batches for 4–5 minutes, or until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine mayonnaise, sweet chilli sauce, honey, gochujang and chilli flakes. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  5. Add the fried chicken into the sauce and toss until evenly coated. Serve immediately.
