Snuggle Up Sausages

  • 1 pack Smoked Hotlink Chicken Sausage
  • 1 ready-rolled puff pastry sheet
  • Ketchup, BBQ or any other preferred sauces for dipping
  • 12 sesame seeds (as edible eyes) 
  • Some honey (optional)


  1. Preheat the oven to 180ºC and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry and use a pizza cutter or sharp knife to cut 6 x 1cm strips of the pastry by its width, long enough to wrap around the sausage.
  3. The kids can then help by wrapping the pastry pieces around each of the sausages. Trim the end off if it is too long.
  4. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes and then turn the temperature up to 220ºC and bake for 5 more minutes. This helps to get the pasty brown and flaky.
  5. Using a small amount of honey, stick on the edible eyes and serve immediately with sauces on the side for dipping. There you go, Snuggle Up Sausages is now ready to be served!
