Stir-Fried Steak With Snow Pea & Asparagus

  • 350g Sadia Ribeye Aged
  • 1 Tbsp water
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 15ml cooking oil
  • 400g asparagus (trimmed and cut into 5 cm lengths)
  • 170g snow peas
  • 1 garlic clove (minced)
  • 1 Tbsp ginger (minced)
  • 1 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 10g fresh basil leaves

METHOD

  1. Keep the Sadia Ribeye Aged sealed and thaw it in the chiller for 24 hours before use. Portion out 350g and slice into 1-inch steak, then cut into strips.
  2. Heat oil in a large pan over high heat. Add asparagus, snow peas, garlic, and ginger. Stir-fry for about 2 minutes until vegetables are crisp-tender.
  3. Pour in soy sauce, rice vinegar and sugar. Stir for about 10–15 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the beef and sear for 1–2 minutes, flipping to cook both sides evenly.
  5. Remove from heat. Mix in lemon juice and basil. Serve immediately.
