Stir-Fried Steak With Snow Pea & Asparagus

INGREDIENTS
Beef- Ribeye Aged
- 350g Sadia Ribeye Aged
- 1 Tbsp water
- ½ tsp baking soda
- 15ml cooking oil
- 400g asparagus (trimmed and cut into 5 cm lengths)
- 170g snow peas
- 1 garlic clove (minced)
- 1 Tbsp ginger (minced)
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 10g fresh basil leaves
METHOD
- Keep the Sadia Ribeye Aged sealed and thaw it in the chiller for 24 hours before use. Portion out 350g and slice into 1-inch steak, then cut into strips.
- Heat oil in a large pan over high heat. Add asparagus, snow peas, garlic, and ginger. Stir-fry for about 2 minutes until vegetables are crisp-tender.
- Pour in soy sauce, rice vinegar and sugar. Stir for about 10–15 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the beef and sear for 1–2 minutes, flipping to cook both sides evenly.
- Remove from heat. Mix in lemon juice and basil. Serve immediately.
