Chicken Essence Soup

INGREDIENTS
Chicken- Chicken Griller
- 1 Sadia Chicken Griller
- 150g napa cabbage (roughly chopped)
- 2 medium carrots (cut into chunks)
- 1 larged onion (sliced)
- 4 garlic cloves (lightly smashed)
- 20g fresh ginger (sliced)
- 10g goji berries
- Salt and white pepper, to taste
- Green onions, to garnish (chopped)
METHOD
- In a medium pot, add napa cabbage, carrot, onion, garlic, and ginger at the base. Place Sadia Chicken Griller on top. Add goji berries and more ginger over the chicken. No water is needed as the ingredients will release their natural juices during cooking.
- Cover tightly with a lid and cook over low-medium heat for an hour. Avoid opening the lid frequently.
- Once done, check that chicken is tender and broth has formed naturally. Season with salt and white pepper.
- Lightly shred the chicken and ladle the soup into bowls. Garnish with green onions if desired and serve hot as a nourishing, concentrated soup.
