
Mongolian Chicken

INGREDIENTS
Chicken- One by One Chicken Fillet
- 500g Sadia One by One Chicken Fillet (sliced to bite sized)
- 4½Tbsp cornstarch
- 3 Tbsp cooking oil
- 1½ tsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp ginger (minced)
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 120ml soy sauce
- 80ml water
- 100g dark brown sugar
- 1 green onion (cut into 1-inch pieces)
METHOD
- In a large zip-lock bag, combine sliced Sadia One by One Chicken Fillet and 4 Tbsp cornstarch. Shake to coat evenly.
- Heat oil in a large pan over high heat. Add chicken, season lightly with salt and pepper, and cook until each side is browned. Work in batches if needed. Transfer cooked chicken to a paper-towel-lined plate.
- In the same pan, sauté garlic and ginger for 30 seconds. Add soy sauce, sesame oil, water, and brown sugar, and bring to a simmer.
- In a small bowl, mix ½ Tbsp cornstarch with 1 Tbsp cold water. Stir into sauce, boil for 60 seconds until slightly thickened.
- Return chicken to the pan, add green onions, and toss to coat.
