Har Cheong Gai
  • 2 servings of Sadia Prawn Paste Wings (Har Cheong Gai), or as preferred
  • 1/2 onion sliced
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup dashi stock
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp of sugar
  • 1 serving of cooked Rice
  • Spring onion


  1. Prepare the Sadia Prawn Paste Wings according to the instructions on the packaging. Once it is cooked, shred them and place them aside. 
  2. While the Sadia Prawn Paste Wings are being prepared, start making the Oyakodon. Heat a pan over medium heat and add dashi stock, soy sauce, sugar, and thinly sliced onion. Bring the mixture to a simmer, then allow it to cook for 3-4 minutes until the onion becomes soft and translucent.
  3. Whisk two eggs together. Evenly distribute the egg mixture all over the pan and the onions. Lightly stir so the eggs can set. Let the eggs cook for 1 minute or until 95% cooked. Serve the egg and the sauce on top of a bowl of rice. 
  4. Add the Sadia Prawn Paste Wings on top. Garnish with some spring onion. 
  5. Enjoy!
