
Cumin & Turmeric Spiced Lentil Soup

INGREDIENTS
Chicken- Sadia Chicken Boneless Leg
- 200g Sadia Chicken Boneless Leg (cut into bite-sized pieces)
- 1 cup red lentils (washed & drained) 1 onion (chopped)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced) 1-inch ginger (grated) 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1⁄2 tsp turmeric powder 1⁄2 tsp coriander powder 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cups chicken broth or water
- 1 tomato (chopped)
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Fresh coriander for garnish
METHOD
- Heat olive oil in a pot. Sauté onions, garlic, and ginger until fragrant.
- Add Sadia Chicken Boneless Leg pieces and cook until lightly browned.
- Stir in cumin, turmeric, coriander, and paprika. Cook for 30 seconds.
- Add lentils, chopped tomato, and broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20-25 minutes.
- Season with salt & pepper. Garnish with fresh coriander.
- Serve hot with crusty bread or rice.
