Flaky Curry Chicken Pastry Bites

INGREDIENTS

  • Sadia One-by-One Chicken Drumette
Ingredients
  • 250g Sadia Chicken Drumette (boiled & shredded)
  • 1 tbsp curry powder
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter (secret ingredient for a satay twist!)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • ½ tsp sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 pack frozen puff pastry (thawed)
  • 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

METHOD

  1. Prepare the filling: Heat oil and sauté shredded chicken, curry powder, soy sauce, peanut butter, sugar, and salt. Cook for 5 minutes until well combined. Let cool.
  2. Assemble the puffs: Cut puff pastry into small squares. Place a spoonful of chicken filling in the center and fold into a triangle or rectangle. Seal the edges with a fork.
  3. Brush with egg wash, sprinkle sesame seeds, and bake at 180°C for 20-25 minutes until golden and flaky.
  4. Serve warm with homemade satay sauce or sweet chili dip.
