Flaky Curry Chicken Pastry Bites

INGREDIENTS
Chicken- Sadia One-by-One Chicken Drumette
- 250g Sadia Chicken Drumette (boiled & shredded)
- 1 tbsp curry powder
- 1 tbsp peanut butter (secret ingredient for a satay twist!)
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- ½ tsp sugar
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 pack frozen puff pastry (thawed)
- 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
METHOD
- Prepare the filling: Heat oil and sauté shredded chicken, curry powder, soy sauce, peanut butter, sugar, and salt. Cook for 5 minutes until well combined. Let cool.
- Assemble the puffs: Cut puff pastry into small squares. Place a spoonful of chicken filling in the center and fold into a triangle or rectangle. Seal the edges with a fork.
- Brush with egg wash, sprinkle sesame seeds, and bake at 180°C for 20-25 minutes until golden and flaky.
- Serve warm with homemade satay sauce or sweet chili dip.
